Class Description

This training explores how cultural values, beliefs, and barriers shape help-seeking behavior for problem gambling within Latino and Hispanic communities. Clinicians will learn about common cultural dynamics, stigma, and underutilization of treatment services, and will gain tools to engage Latino clients and families in a culturally responsive way. The session includes a real-world case illustration and practical strategies to improve outreach, assessment, and treatment planning.
