Dr. Beckley is a licensed Latina bilingual psychotherapist based in Washington, DC, a certified trauma therapist, and a national certified counselor with 15 years of experience serving diverse populations in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Latin America.
Specializing in addictions and trauma & crisis intervention—focusing humanitarian aid, forced immigration, human trafficking, violence against women and children, and addictions—she leverages her expertise as an Industrial Organizational Psychologist and International Psychologist, Ph.D. to create and implement innovative mental health programs, trainings and presentations across the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Her work has empowered international psychologists, social workers, and public justice officials through specialized training in trauma-informed care, problem gambling and multicultural counseling.
Recognizing the need for culturally attuned mental health services for diverse communities, Dr. Beckley established Wellness Restoration Counseling virtual group practice to provide evidence-based counseling to diverse clients who are experiencing anxiety and depression due to life transitions. In addition to her strategic leadership, she provides clinical supervision to clinicians in delivering effective, diversity-integrated care and mentors emerging therapists as a clinical supervisor.
