Each March, the California Office of Problem Gambling (OPG) and the California Council on Problem Gambling (CalPG) present the annual California Problem Gambling Summit. The Summit offers online courses that cover gambling disorder and its connections to mental and physical health.
All classes offered are available to everyone during the month of March and include free continuing education. This opportunity is provided in celebration of Problem Gambling Awareness Month (PGAM), a national campaign focused on increasing awareness, supporting prevention and treatment efforts, and encouraging providers to screen for problem gambling.
Additional live classes are offered throughout the year, including Psychologist-level continuing education. Registration is available on this site, and participants can join the mailing list below to receive updates.
The 2026 Summit theme is When Did This Stop Being a Game?
